Our Programs
From emergency relief to prevention, here's how we make a lasting difference.
What We Fund
Programs & Outreach
FFCF spans three areas: direct victim aid, institutional support, and fire prevention education.

Direct Victim Aid
Emergency housing, medical costs, food, clothing, and scholarships for individuals and families who've lost everything.

Volunteer Fire Dept. Grants
Protective gear, apparatus maintenance, specialized training, and community safety programs for underfunded volunteer departments.

Burn Care & Hospitals
Children's burn camps, burn hospital equipment, and rehabilitation programs that advance care for burn survivors.

Fire Prevention & Education
School safety programs, smoke and CO detector distribution, AED deployment, and juvenile fire-setter intervention.
Prevention
🔥 Fire Safety Tips
Prevention starts at home. Share these with your family.
1
Test smoke detectors monthly — replace batteries annually, units every 10 years.
3
Never leave cooking unattended — the #1 cause of home fires.
5
Don't overload electrical outlets — faulty wiring causes thousands of fires each year.
7
Install CO detectors on every floor, especially near sleeping areas.
2
Plan two escape routes from every room and practice twice a year.
4
Keep a fire extinguisher in your kitchen and know how to use it.
6
Never go back inside a burning building — meet outside and call 911.
8
Keep flammables away from heat — curtains and furniture away from heaters.
