FFCF GEARS UP FOR ITS ANNUAL, CHARITABLE GOLF OUTING SET FOR
SATURDAY, APRIL 21, 2012 AT BEAUTIFUL INVERRARY COUNTRY CLUB!

LAUDERHILL, FL - The Firefighters Charitable Foundation Inc. "Golf Classic" is scheduled for
April 21, 2011
at Inverrary Country Club, 3840 Inverrary Blvd., Lauderhill, FL., organized to benefit City of Hollywood Fire-Rescue
Firefighter Derek Avilez who was severely injured
while off-duty, and other recipients in the State of Florida.
This past 2011 FFCF Golf Classic raised funds to help fire victim Michael Brewer, boat accident amputee Gabriella Desouza
and other recipients in the State of Florida.
Brewer, a teenager, suffered a burn injury after he was splashed with a flammable liquid and then
set ablaze by other youths. Deerfield Beach, Florida deputies and firefighters had arrived to find the victim,
Michael Brewer, sitting in a lawn chair near his family's pool. The teen was burned extensively above the waist.
